My lighting has three main components:
- LED Light Strips
- LED CONTROL Module
- Remote Control
Here are some things to do if you have no lights or your lights won't turn on.
Here is what you can do immediately to see if it fixes it without going into any other things.
Step 1. Check Fuse. Replace Fuse if Necessary (see re-sync remote if necessary)
Step 2. Check all connections. Unplug and re-plug them.
if this does not fix it then see which scenario fits your problem and try the Quick Check.
What are the symptoms? Below are some different Scenarios.
Scenario 1: Lights on one side working. Or some lights
are on some lights are off.
Quick Check: Unplug re-plug affected Lights.
Scenario 2: Push button on the remote and you hear no
beep and no lights come on. (Blue Light on Remote lights when power button is
pushed)
Quick Check: Check Fuse and Replace if Necessary (Typically a 3 amp specialty fuse)
Scenario 3: Push button on the remote and you hear no
beep and no lights come on. (NO Blue Light on Remote when power button is
pushed)
Quick Check: Check the battery in the Remote, Check Fuse
(Optional - Because my lights are also hooked into my brake lights)
Scenario 4: Lights on Bike Light up Red when Brake is
applied but do not light at any other time.
Quick Check: Re-sync Remote: Remove FUSE, Replace Fuse.
Hold A+D buttons until you hear 3 beeps, Remote should be re-synced. Damage to the wires, burned out lights or a bad control module will be some of the other situations and if that is the case contact your manufacturer, or installer for warranty information.
